Debarked Campfire Wood
The Solid Waste District of La Porte County would like to publicly announce that they have met the requirements of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources for the sale of debarked wood for use in all Indiana State Parks. The cost of this wood which meets the requirements of Indiana’s Emerald Ash Borer Quarantine is $4 plus sales tax per crate (crate not included). Payment must be made by check only at the time of sale.
NOTE:
- Site personnel will load all trucks and
trailers – NO EXCEPTIONS
- Capped
trucks cannot, nor will be loaded – NO
EXCEPTIONS
- Dump
trucks, flatbed trucks, etc. will only be loaded with mulch and
compost – NO FIREWOOD – NO EXCEPTIONS
- The bed of all
trucks will be loaded with firewood as evenly as possible with the
standard OEM sides of the truck.
