We DO Know Beans!!
If you were one of the hundreds who attended the Ham and Bean Supper at the Fairgrounds, you probably saw many members of our staff hustling to wash all those metal commemorative mugs used in place of styrofoam bowls.
This great “tin cup” idea helped to reduce garbage from our waste stream as well as giving our citizens a mug picturing a building from our own Fair. Surprisingly, the mug held MORE than the styrofoam bowls previously used.
