The Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA) through the Resource Conservation and
Recovery Act (RCRA) identifies three hazardous waste generators
: Large Quantity Generators (LQG), Small Quantity Generators (SOG),
and Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generators (CESQG).
The Conditionally
Exempt Small Quantity Generator (CESOG) is a business that produces
less than 220 pounds of hazardous waste per calendar month.
The materials
collected are disposed of by recycling or reusing. Classification,
segregation, and packaging of waste material by hazard class
will
be in accordance with DOT, EPA, state and local regulations.
