Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generator Program

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) identifies three hazardous waste generators : Large Quantity Generators (LQG), Small Quantity Generators (SOG), and Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generators (CESQG).

The Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generator (CESOG) is a business that produces less than 220 pounds of hazardous waste per calendar month.

The materials collected are disposed of by recycling or reusing.  Classification, segregation, and packaging of waste material by hazard class will be in accordance with DOT, EPA, state and local regulations.
