PLEASE DO NO LEAVE ANY ITEMS OUTSIDE THE TRAILER AFTER HOURS. ITEMS ARE NOT TO BE REMOVED FROM TRAILER. DOING SO IS CONSIDERED THEFT!

Dropoff Locations

LA PORTE LOCATION: La Porte County Solid Waste District  Compost Site, 724 Zigler Road, 

HOURS: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday except Holidays (any questions call the District Office)

DIRECTIONS: Take Highway 2 West to the La Porte Couty Fairgrounds. Turn right on to Zigler Road. Compost site with Electronic Recycling Trailer is past horse arenas on the left. . Trailer is located in the center field of Compost Site. 

MICHIGAN CITY LOCATION: 1801 Kentucky Street, Michigan City. 

HOURS: Always Open

DIRECTIONS: Drive to Michigan City Street Department on Kentucky Street and then turn on Russell Street.  There is a large shipping trailer to deposit your electronics. La Porte County Solid Waste District 219-326-0014.
