CONTROLLER

 

Solid Waste District of La Porte County is seeking an experienced individual to act in the capacity of an Auditor/Treasurer for the District.  This includes maintenance and auditing of all incoming and outgoing funds of the District pursuant to Indiana State Board of Account guidelines and other agencies required by law. 

 

Qualifications include strong communication and organizational skills, efficiency in Word, Excel.  Significant experience with accounts payable/receivable, Payroll, and reconciliation required.  Experience with Keystone Fund Accounting and Payroll Systems preferred.  Governmental/SBOA accounting experience preferred.  Must have ability to multitask and work independently. 

 

Salary commensurate with experience.
